Standard Return for Replacement Policy

 

STAMP LAB HAS SPECIFIC RETURN POLICIES THAT APPLY TO SPECIFIC PRODUCT TYPES. THE BELOW IS STAMP LAB’S STANDARD RETURN POLICY FOR REPLACEMENT – PLEASE BE SURE TO CONSULT THE APPROPRIATE SECTION OF THIS POLICY FOR TERMS PERTAINING TO YOUR PRODUCT.

Stamp Lab recognises that life’s not perfect and that sometimes things need to be replaced. Stamp Lab will be happy to offer replacements for defective products within a 30-day period.

Stamp Lab acknowledges that our customers are busy people. That’s why Stamp Lab extends our customers a full 30 days from the original invoice date to contact us and obtain an RMA. By that same token, Stamp Lab accepts product returns received within 40 days of the original invoice date with a valid RMA number and containing all original components. To ensure customer satisfaction.

Should you encounter an issue with your purchase, please review all relevant literature, contact Stamp Lab Customer Service, We will be more than happy to troubleshoot your issue in order to gain a successful resolution. If, upon initial opening of the package, the purchased product appears damaged or is otherwise believed to have a technical issue or defect, contact Stamp Lab immediately. Upon Stamp Lab’s determination, we will issue you an RMA to resolve the issue you are encountering. To ensure the best possible service, the product needs to be verified by a Stamp Lab as defective or damaged in transit prior to a replacement being sent out. Such issues must be reported to Stamp Lab within 48 business hours of receipt.

Stamp Lab understands that sometimes our customers purchase something and find the product does not meet their needs. Should you need to return an item and wish to replace it with something else, please contact Stamp Lab. You can do this by contacting Stamp Lab Customer Service within 30 days of the original invoice date.

If you wish to receive your new item before returning the original item, you may place a new order with us online or through a Stamp Lab Customer Representative and request a refund for the original order at that time. All international and/or taxes duties and/or express shipping charges, including Returns for Warranty or Returns for Refund, are the sole responsibility of the customer.

For any replacements, Stamp Lab will always make all best efforts to replace any product found to be defective with the same product model. When a direct replacement for the exact model number or part number is not available, Stamp Lab reserves the right to replace with an equivalent or higher grade item or model number. At Stamp Lab’s sole discretion, in the event that an acceptable product replacement cannot be found, a refund may be offered.

All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). You may obtain an RMA number by contacting Stamp Lab Customer Service within 30 days of the original invoice date. Replacement RMAs may be obtained at any time during the Stamp Lab covered warranty period.

For Defective/DOA items (within 15 days of purchase) Stamp Lab may offer to cover shipping back to Stamp Lab for customers in the Australia. Please contact our customer service for more information.

Stamp Lab recognises that sometimes customers’ wants and needs change and they may need to return a purchase. Stamp Lab would be pleased to assist you with a return for Credit of many of our products within 30 calendar days. Availability for refund is determined at Stamp Lab’s sole discretion.

Stamp Lab acknowledges that our customers are busy people. That’s why Stamp Lab extends our customers a full 30 days from the original invoice date to contact us and obtain an RMA. By that same token, Stamp Lab will accept product returns received within 40 days from the original invoice date with a valid RMA number and containing all original components.

  • Orders cancelled after processing (order has been placed, invoiced and/or shipped) AND unopened items are subject to a 5% restocking fee. Excludes Custom, Open box and bulk orders. Refused shipments are subject to return freight charges.
  • Opened items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

All refunds processed will be based on the following:

  • Goods received complete WITHIN 40 days of the original invoice date will receive a refund minus all applicable restocking fees (as noted above) of the invoiced purchase price.
  • Goods received complete AFTER 40 days, will be subject to the above-listed restocking fees.

Partial order returns on orders that were extended a shipping or other promotional discount will proportionally have such a discounts deducted from the refund.

All authorised refunds will be refunded as store credit. Please note that Stamp Lab will process all refunds within 48 hours of receipt of returned goods. Stamp Lab is happy to answer any questions regarding our portion of the refund processing.

Freight is non-refundable. The customer is always responsible for safe return of goods and selecting proper return shipping insurance.

Mail-In Rebates

Any product offering a mail-in rebate is not returnable to Stamp Lab once the rebate has been filed. Be sure that the product is functional and that you intend to keep the product before sending in for your rebate. Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable. Only the product manufacturer can replace a defective item missing the UPC code. Please note return shipping is not included/provided by Stamp Lab.

Combo Specials

Combo Specials include two items that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Combo items may be returned for replacement within their applicable Stamp Lab Return Policy Period. If a Combo item is returned for a refund, the Combo Discount will be voided, and the discount amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. (For example, if your combo discount was $5, and you return one of the combo items for a refund, the $5 will be deducted from your RMA refund amount.)

Out-of-Stock (Back-Order Items)

If Stamp Lab no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock. You will be notified via email of two options:

  • Stamp Lab can send you a comparable replacement item; OR
  • Stamp Lab can issue you a refund at the current market value of the product. A current-market-value refund may not exceed the original invoice price. If the item is returned within 30 days of the original invoice date, a full refund will be issued minus applicable restocking fees.

Quantity Purchases

While Stamp Lab is more than happy to fill your order for a quantity of five (5) or more of any given item in our inventory on a single purchase order, please understand that an order of that size, once a purchase is completed, is automatically non-refundable. All other specific conditions related to the ordered item still apply, including any and all stipulations relative to any available replacement return policies. Consumable Items

  • Return for refund within 30 days
  • Return for replacement within 30 days

Unopened consumables are eligible for return for refund, exchange or replacement. Items covered by this policy must be returned to Stamp Lab within 30 days of the original ship date for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Stamp Lab and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

All returns are subject to the RMA guidelines stated in Stamp Lab Return Policy

Consumable items are items such as Inks and Ink Pads, Ink Cartridges, Cleaning Supplies, Paper Products, Installation tools etc. that are consumed once they are used. The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise you have returned to Stamp Lab being returned to you:

  • Consumable items that have been opened AND
  • Consumable items lacking the original packaging.

Clearance/Bargain Items

  • All sales are final.

Clearance/bargain items are indicated with a “(*)” in the beginning of their description line. Such items are provided on a first-come-first-served basis.

Clearance items indicated by the “(*)” are subject to special sale terms. Sales of clearance items are final. Where a Stamp Lab warranty is applicable and listed, items may be returned with an RMA to be repaired/replaced/refunded at Stamp Lab’s discretion during Stamp Lab’s warranty term. Items listed with a Manufacturer’s warranty are subject to the Manufacturer’s warranty fulfilment terms.

Clearance items listed are available for online/web purchases only, as orders are placed, the system live-updates to display only clearance items remaining available. Because clearance inventory is kept separate from our normal inventory, please allow an extra 1 to 3 days for the processing and shipping of an order, which includes clearance product(s). Bulk Items

  • Return for refund within: non-refundable unless shipment is refused
  • Return for replacement within non-replaceable

Bulk Items cannot be returned to Stamp Lab for a refund or replacement service. Therefore, you are urged to carefully examine the box your bulk item ships in before signing for the package. Should you observe any damage to the shipping box, or if the wrong product was sent, you must refuse delivery while the shipping courier is still on the premises. The item will be returned to Stamp Lab and you will be refunded the full amount, including applicable shipping costs and tax.
